FedEx Introduces New FICP Service with Competitive Pricing, Amid IP/IE/IPE Net Rate Increases
Starting September 15, 2024, FedEx will be making changes to their existing export service pricing and introducing the new FedEx International Connect Plus Export (FICP) service.

FedEx International Connect Plus Export (FICP) Pricing:

As part of the migration to the new FICP service, FedEx has designed the pricing to be similar to the current IP (International Priority) rates for shipments to the following regions:

United States

Eastern Europe, the Balkan Peninsula, and the Mediterranean

South America, the Caribbean, and the Pacific region

Western Europe
- Canada

Current Export Freight Rate:
- The current export freight rate will remain in effect until September 14, 2024.

Import Freight Rate:
- There will be no impact to your import freight rate.

FedEx International Priority Express Export (IPE), FedEx International Priority Export(IP), and FedEx International Economy Export(IE) Freight Rates Increase:
- On or after September 15, 2024 (based on the FedEx pickup date), the net rate will increase by 7% for the following regions:
- United States
- Eastern Europe, the Balkan Peninsula, and the Mediterranean
- South America, the Caribbean, and the Pacific region
- Western Europe
- Canada
- On or after September 15, 2024 (based on the FedEx pickup date), the net rate will increase by 7% for the following regions:

Surcharge Update:
- On or after September 15, 2024 (based on the FedEx pickup date), the remote area and residential surcharge waivers will be removed from the FedEx International Priority Express Export (IPE), FedEx International Priority Export(IP), and FedEx International Economy Export(IE) services.

- The FICP service will maintain a residential surcharge for all routes and provide an out-of-delivery area surcharge waiver for select routes.
