Inbound Process

Create a new receiving order, select handling method (by product or carton) and track receiving progress

Inbound Completion Estimated Time: T+2 working days

To effectively manage inbound processes, it is crucial to have precise receiving order information including the estimated arrival date, tracking number, SKU details, and quantities. Each carton should be clearly marked with the SKU number, description, and quantity to streamline the inventory receiving process.

By providing this information, Spaceship team can efficiently prepare for incoming inventory and streamline the receiving process.

Create Receiving Order

  1. Navigate to the Inventory section and click +New Receiving Order .

  2. Enter the necessary information, select the preferred handling method, and then proceed with submitting the form.

When selecting the handling method, users have the option to indicate whether the order will be picked by product (by individual products or pieces) for B2C shipping, or by carton for B2B shipping . This choice impacts our handling process and ultimately determines the outbound cost.

💡If you need unloading services, kindly make a note in the inbound order. Spaceship also offers comprehensive one-stop services for inbound orders, including transportation via trucking, air freight, or ocean freight.

⚠️ Spaceship does not serve as the official importer of record. When sending shipments to Spaceship Warehouse, please ensure to use your own company name with the care of "Spaceship", for example, ABC Company C/O Spaceship.

⚠️Failure to provide a receiving order may result in delays in the handling process at the Spaceship warehouse, and we reserve the right to not accept the orders.

⚠️Ensure that all inbound shipments are adequately protected using inner boxes, bubble wrap, silica gels, and other appropriate packaging materials.

Warehouse Receiving

Upon arrival at the warehouse, Spaceship warehouse team will check the cargo by counting the number of cartons, noting the item SKU number, cargo description, quantity, and any available information on the carton mark against the receiving order and packing list(if provided). They will visually inspect the outer condition of the cargo and in case of any damage, shortage, or discrepancies, Spaceship will send photos and contact users for instructions.

Defective cargo will be temporarily stored separately and wait for further instructions. The working time required for inbound shipments is T+2 working days, and warehouse team will update the status into the system.

Track the Receiving Progress

The status options available for tracking the receiving progress of a warehouse inbound order are as follows: Awaiting (waiting for processing), Processing (order being handled), Completed (order successfully received), Cancel Requested (request made to cancel the order), and Cancelled (order has been canceled). These status updates provide visibility into the progress of the receiving process, allowing for efficient management and coordination of inventory.
