1. Online Booking
When you book shipping online, Spaceship Pro will provide you with service options and estimated costs based on the shipping route, weight, package dimensions, and item details you input.
2. Package Collection
Once your shipment is collected, the actual package dimensions and weight will be measured.
3. Fee Adjustment
If there is a discrepancy between the estimated and actual package details, a shipping fee adjustment may be necessary. In such cases, you will receive an updated invoice. You will be notified via email on a weekly basis, or you can log in to Spaceship Pro and navigate to "pending charges" to review the reasons for the adjustment and associated charges in real time.
4. Additional Surcharges
In case of additional charges during shipping, like customs tax, residential delivery surcharges, or receiver address correction fees, you will receive a bill for these fees on the final invoice. 5. Adjustment Processing
Different courier companies have varying billing frequencies and timelines. Typically, adjustments will be processed within 2-6 weeks after shipment collection. However, there may be instances where certain carriers could take longer, up to 8-10 weeks, to finalize measurements and issue additional surcharges invoices. In rare cases, taxes may be rejected by the receiver and billed back to the shipper after a long time as per the courier service terms. The shipper holds responsibility for any taxes billed back.
