Spaceship Air - Heavy Goods (Tax Inclusive) provides a delivery service for heavy shipments to the United States with a fixed total cost that includes taxes. This solution allows shippers to have clearer and more predictable shipping expenses when entering the U.S. market, minimizing uncertainty related to fluctuating tax rates. Shipments are transported by air and then handed over to local couriers (FedEx or UPS) for final delivery. Customers benefit from end-to-end tracking, ensuring complete visibility throughout the shipping process.

Chargeable Weight

 
Spaceship will charge based on the greater of actual weight or volumetric weight. Volumetric weight = W x L x H cm/6000 for most destinations. Spaceship will charge based on the nearest 500g (rounded-up). 
The minimum chargeable weight for any shipment, as well as for each individual box, is set at 12kg.

Transit Time

 8-14 working days, additional time to remote area.

Pickup services are not offered free of charge. Shippers can arrange for a pickup through Spaceship Pro or alternatively, you may drop off their shipments at our warehouse.

Size & Weight Limitation

  • Single box actual weight: < 22 KG
  • Single box dimensions: Longest side < 120 cm, second longest side < 75 cm, perimeter: Length + 2 * (Width + Height) < 260 CM
  • Outer packaging: Must be a sturdy, rectangular cardboard box.

Customs Clearance

Customs clearance is conducted under DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) terms. The quotation includes all applicable taxes, which vary based on the chargeable weight.

Additional customs fees will apply for the following items:

  • Textiles, Leather, Bags, Shoes: Additional fee of HKD 1.5/kg.
  • Lighting, Glassware, Ceramics: Additional fee of HKD 1.5/kg.
  • Products with Standard Tariffs Over 30%: Additional fee of HKD 1.5/kg. You can access the standard tariff information for your product by visiting this website.
  • FDA Products, Wood Products, Glasses, Toys: Additional fee of HKD 2.5/kg.

Shipper must obtain the necessary certifications for the country of sale, complying with local policies and regulations. This includes, but is not limited to, certifications such as FDA, CPSC, CPC, Bluetooth, 3C, CE, UL, USB, and SD. Spaceship will not be responsible for any inspections, seizures, or destructions resulting from compliance issues. Additionally, the customer will be responsible for any costs incurred by our company as a result of these issues.  For a comprehensive list of items that are commonly subject to regulation, please consult "Regulated Products in the U.S.".

Sensitive Product Acceptance Rule

Product with Battery:

This service accommodates general goods as well as products containing batteries. Acceptable items include built-in batteries (with a capacity of under 100 WH), low-magnetic products, CDs, 3C electronic products, and gaming consoles.  

FDA Regulated Product:

  • Review the FDA's  Labeling Guide to ensure your product labels meet the required standards.
  • Familiarize yourself with the list of prohibited or restricted ingredients as per the FDA regulations.
  • Ensure you have the appropriate FDA certificate, MSDS  and other shipping documents required by the US Customs and Border Protection (CBP).
Spaceship will not be responsible for any inspections, seizures, or destructions resulting from compliance issues.

Amazon FBA Warehouse Entry Requirement

  • Each box is limited to a weight of 22 kg.

  • Please ensure that the FBA labels are properly affixed on the shipment.

  • For any single item exceeding 15 kg, please attach a "Team Lift" label as per Amazon FBA regulations.

  • Each outer box must have at least two valid FBA labels affixed, covered with clear tape (the barcode must be clear, moisture-resistant, and durable). Any consequences resulting from unrecognized FBA labels or refusal of delivery by the recipient (due to product issues or any other reasons) will be the sender's responsibility (settled based on actual expenses reported by our overseas partners; no invoices will be provided for review).


Prohibited Practices:
    • No straps are allowed on the outer boxes.
    • No combining of boxes (two boxes as one).
    • Boxes with third-party logos are not permitted (including Amazon's own return boxes).
    • No website details are allowed on the outer boxes; any website is prohibited.
    • If Amazon labels are expired, Amazon  will treat them as abandoned goods. Please ensure the FBA labels are valid before shipping.

Delivery Coverage Limitation

Delivery services are not available for the following locations:

- APO/FPO military addresses

- DPO addresses

- Puerto Rico (zip codes 090-099, 340, 962-966)

- Hawaii and Guam (zip codes 995-999)

- Alaska (zip codes 967-969)

Interception, Temporary Hold, and Address Change Services

For interception, temporary hold, and address change services, our company does not guarantee 100% success. If a customer proactively requests interception, holding, or address changes, we will not be liable for any lost items or compensation resulting from these actions.

Return Arrangement

If the shipment is forcibly returned by customs or courier (such as mis-declaration, infringement, or lack of import license) , return shipping fees, and any handling fees resulting from the return shipment would be billed back to user account.

If our domestic warehouse identifies violations such as misreporting or discrepancies before shipment, we can arrange for returns. A penalty of HKD 10 per kg will apply, and the shipper will be responsible for the shipping costs.
