Chargeable Weight

Charges will be based on the GROSS weight of the package. The minimum weight for billing is set at 1 kg; therefore, any package weighing less than 1 kg will be rounded up to 1 kg for the calculation.

Customs Clearance

Only DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) will be accepted. This customs clearance method is specifically designed to streamline cross-border e-commerce and personal shipments. It offers reduced tax rates compared to the standard import tariffs applied to commercial goods. Please refer to this document for the China Postal Import Tax.

For shipments containing a single indivisible item, it is advisable that the total value does not exceed RMB 20,000. In contrast, for parcels containing multiple divisible items, the total value of each shipment must be limited to a maximum of RMB 2,000.

Additional order and receiver information will be required for China Customs Clearance.

Sensitive Item Acceptance

Cosmetics Product	ZTO Express accepts a variety of cosmetic products, including liquids, powders, and pastes. However, for liquid items, the volume must not exceed 500ml per package. An ingredient label is mandatory.	ZTO Express does not accept hazardous materials, including nail polish, perfume, alcohol, and aerosol sprays.
Battery Product	Batteries with a capacity of less than 100 Watt-hours are acceptable for products that contain batteries. Each parcel should contain only a single product with battery.	Pure battery is not accepted.

Undeliverable Arrangement

If the recipient's address is found to be incorrect after customs clearance, the user has the option to redirect the package to a new valid address. The costs incurred for this redelivery will be reimbursed, along with an additional handling fee of HKD5.

If customs clearance cannot be successfully completed, the package will be returned to the origin at a cost of HKD 20 per shipment, in addition to a warehouse handling fee of HKD 9 per shipment. Please note that these fees do not include local delivery charges. For local deliveries in Hong Kong, the first kilogram is billed at HKD 30, with an additional charge of HKD 1.5 for each subsequent kilogram.
