Important Reminder
The following types of battery products are prohibited for shipping:
1. Damaged, defective or recalled batteries are forbidden for air transport.
2. Standalone battery or power bank is not accepted
3. Electric scooter is not accepted
If any prohibited or dangerous items are found by Spaceship, the courier, or customs, the Spaceship account owner will need to pay a minimum penalty of HKD 1,000. The pre-paid shipping cost and other associated expenses will not be refunded. It's important to note that the penalty has no maximum limit, and payment of the penalty does not exempt the Spaceship account owner, shipper and/or receiver from any legal responsibilities related to violating international transportation regulations.
Accepted Types of Battery
1. Lithium ion batteries or cells
966 Section II | UN3481 or 967 Section II | UN3481
Rechargeable (secondary) lithium ion or lithium polymer cells or batteries. Very commonly found in portable consumer electronics such as laptops, mobile phones, etc.

2. Lithium metal batteries or cells
969 Section II | UN3091 or 970 Section II | UN3091
Non-rechargeable (primary) lithium metal or lithium alloy cells or batteries longer life than standard alkaline batteries / cells, and commonly used in cameras, toys, etc.
