The list of Prohibited Goods

If prohibited items are discovered in the shipment by Spaceship or customs, the sender or the Spaceship account holder will be required to pay a minimum processing fee of HKD 1,000, in addition to the pre-paid shipping charges and any other associated costs. Payment of these fees does not absolve the customer of any legal liabilities arising from violations of international transportation regulations. Spaceship assumes no responsibility for prohibited items in the shipment. Furthermore, Spaceship, couriers, and customs reserve the right to conduct a thorough investigation into the shipment, sender, and/or recipient.

General Prohibited Items

Spaceship Air does not accept the general prohibited items as well as the goods listed below.

  • Counterfeit product
  • Food
  • Tobacco
  • Human hair
  • Country flag or any product with country flag
  • Strong magnetism (such as salvage magnets, magnetic cubes, magnets, etc.)
  • Baby formula
  • Nail Polish
  • Glue
  • Perfume
  • Pure batteries
  • Marker (dependent on material)
  • Printer Ink
  • Magnetized material
  • Spray
  • Dry Ice
  • Vaccines
  • Automobile parts
  • Laboratory testing equipment
  • Camping expeditionary equipment
  • Chemicals
  • Self-defense product such as throwing stick, alarm, knives, etc
  • Table knife, kitchen knife
  • Industrial material
  • Illegal publications, printed materials, audio-visual products and other promotional materials
  • Multi-purpose sporting goods: such as baseball bats, darts, compound bows, bows and arrows and other visually offensive products
  • Spy equipment ( Such as hidden eavesdropping equipment, photo-stealing equipment, burst transceivers, one-time codebooks, steganography tools, electronic monitoring and interception equipment used to obtain information, etc.)
  • Goods subject to Antidumping/Countervailing Duty (AD/CVD), goods subject to quota, certain  tobacco and alcohol products, and goods taxed under the Internal Revenue Code, are not  permitted to be filed under Entry Type 86.
  • Product that requires inspection or fee collection from Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) Federal Drug Administration (FDA) Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)

Japan Prohibited Items:

Category 1: Food and Equipment
Please note that any food-related or food-contact products are subject to food safety laws and quarantine regulations.

  1. Various food molds such as cake models, cake molds, food molds, cake toppers, and cake umbrellas.

  2. Bottles, jars, bowls, cups (including pet water cups, water bottles, and straws).

  3. Various kitchen supplies such as tableware, knives, teapots, spoons, plates, cake stands, and disposable beverage bag sets.

  4. Food thermometers, food wrapping paper, juicers, microwave ovens, and draining baskets.

  5. Faucets, water screening programs, and related products.

  6. Pacifiers, mouth braces, and teeth grinding-related products.

  7. Products that are clearly unrelated to food can be shipped upon providing evidence.

Category 2: Cosmetics
Please note that an import license is required for cosmetics.

  1. Acne rejuvenation cream, perfume, eye cream, soap, growth fluid, concealer, acne cream, essence, essential oil, purifying fluid, lip gloss, lip mask, face masks, eye shadow, nail polish, scar patches, hand soap, etc.

  2. Non-infringing false eyelashes and makeup brushes can be shipped.

Category 3: Medical Devices, Therapeutic Supplies, and Beauty Apparatus
Spaceship does not accept medical devices, therapeutic supplies, and beauty apparatus. Medical devices refer to instruments, equipment, appliances, in vitro diagnostic reagents, calibration materials, and other similar or related items used on the human body. Therapeutic supplies utilize physical factors to generate beneficial responses for preventing and treating diseases. Beauty apparatus refers to instruments used for cosmetic purposes.

  1. Facial massagers: Manual ones can be shipped (if they do not infringe), electric ones cannot be shipped. Non-electric massagers without obvious medical use can be shipped.

  2. Beauty devices in direct contact with the human body cannot be shipped, including blackhead removal devices, hair removal devices, mole pens, ear guns, physiotherapy supplies (related to acupoints), fascia guns, abs abdominal muscle stickers, acupuncture pens, tattoo supplies, ear piercing supplies, body-related supplies with microneedles, flaring devices, measuring rulers, face-lifting devices, dental supplies, electric wrist force devices, etc.

  3. Massage pillows can only be shipped one per parcel, while there is no limit to the number of ordinary pillows.

  4. Syringes, injection needles, dental scalers, and iodophor cotton swabs (regular cotton swabs can be shipped).

  5. Airbrushes and massage pens.

  6. Alcohol testers (with liquid).

  7. Dental instruments, sphygmomanometers, thermometers, and forehead thermometers can be shipped, but each recipient is limited to one parcel per day.

Category 4: Toys and Products for Infants and Young Children (Under 6 Years)
Early education toys and products suitable for infants and young children under the age of 6 are not eligible for shipping. It is recommended that the products have a label indicating suitability for children aged 6 and above.

Category 5: Other Products

  1. Fluorescent pens can be shipped. Please be aware that when declaring fluorescent sticks, distinguish between electronic and fluorescent agent categories.

  2. Solar belts with batteries.

  3. Electric blankets, electric gloves, electric socks, and electric handlebars.

  4. Commemorative coins that are not coins used in a specific country can be shipped (coins with face value cannot be shipped).

  5. Leather products (such as leather shoes, leather bags, leather clothing) are not accepted. Shoe cream (solid form) can be shipped.

  6. This channel does not accept textile products except for clothing (such as hammocks, pet seat covers, cushions, tents, etc.).



Middle East Prohibited Items

⚠️Customs regulations in many Middle Eastern countries are stringent, and items deemed prohibited may be seized, potentially resulting in fines or legal repercussions. It is advisable to consult Spaceship Customer Service or your chosen courier for the latest shipping guidelines before proceeding.

 

Saudi Arabia

  1. Weapons: Firearms and explosives.
  2. Narcotics: Illegal drugs.
  3. Pornographic Materials: Adult content in any form.
  4. Anti-Islamic Products: Any items that are offensive to Islamic beliefs.
  5. Electronic Passports: Prohibited for import.
  6. Laser Glasses: Not allowed.
  7. Voice Changers: Banned.
  8. Telescopes: Prohibited.
  9. Magic Props: Restricted items.
  10. Gambling Products: Any devices or items used for gambling.
  11. Smart Watches with Cameras: Not permitted.
  12. Mobile Phones or Machines with GPS Functions: Banned.
  13. Electronic Fan Machine Accessories: Prohibited.
  14. Remote Control Aircraft: Not allowed.

  1. Mobile phones, tablets, walkie-talkies, drones, and other electronic products with communication functions
    • Devices capable of telecommunication are restricted due to regulatory controls.
  2. Imitation brands and infringing products
    • Counterfeit goods or products violating intellectual property rights are prohibited.
  3. Imitation appearance products
    • Items designed to mimic the appearance of branded or restricted goods.
  4. Cosmetics and personal care products
    • These may be restricted due to health and safety regulations.
  5. Food and food supplements
    • Includes processed or packaged food items and dietary supplements.
  6. Dairy products
    • Milk, cheese, and other dairy-based products are restricted.
  7. Fresh food
    • Perishable items like fruits, vegetables, or other fresh produce.
  8. Live and feathered animals
    • Live animals, including birds or poultry, are prohibited.
  9. Animals, plants, and their seeds
    • Includes live plants, seeds, or any biological material that may pose a biosecurity risk.
  10. Electronic cigarettes
    • Vaping devices and related products are restricted.
  11. ID cards, passports, and other official documents
    • Personal identification or legal documents are prohibited for security reasons.
  12. Amber fossils, resin fossils
    • These may be restricted due to cultural or environmental regulations.
  13. Gold and jewelry
    • Precious metals and jewelry are subject to strict import controls.
  14. CDs
    • Physical media like CDs may be restricted, possibly due to content or piracy concerns.
  15. Adult products
    • Items deemed explicit or inappropriate are prohibited.
  16. Religious items
    • Materials that may be sensitive or offensive to religious sentiments are restricted.
  17. Drugs, anesthetics, and irritating substances
    • Includes narcotics, prescription drugs, and substances that may cause harm or irritation.

  1. Walkie-talkies
    • Devices with two-way communication capabilities.
  2. Knives or knife-like products
    • Includes sharp objects or items resembling weapons.
  3. Drones
    • Unmanned aerial vehicles, restricted due to security concerns.
  4. Cameras and products related to military use
    • Includes surveillance or tactical equipment.
  5. Wireless routers
    • Networking devices with wireless capabilities.
  6. Electronic cigarettes
    • Vaping devices and related products.
  7. Qurans
    • Holy books specific to Islam, restricted to prevent misuse or unauthorized distribution.
  8. Counterfeit brands
    • Imitation goods violating intellectual property rights.
  9. Tail pipes
    • Automotive exhaust components, possibly restricted due to modifications or regulations.
  10. Remote keys
    • Key fobs or remote control devices for vehicles or systems.
  11. Winches
    • Mechanical devices used for pulling or lifting.

    • Items emitting lasers, restricted due to safety concerns.

    • Includes model planes or other remotely operated aerial devices.
  37. Electronic fan machine accessories
    • Specific components, possibly restricted due to technical or safety standards.
