- Ensure product has Taiwan NCC type approval: It is crucial to verify that the products being shipped have obtained Taiwan NCC type approval. Products lacking this certification will not clear customs.
- Provide relevant documentation: Prepare adequate documentation to prove that the products have obtained Taiwan NCC type approval. This may include type approval certificates, test reports, and NCC self-declaration forms.
- Check wireless frequency and power: Confirm that the product's wireless frequency and power comply with Taiwan's regulations. If necessary, provide relevant test reports and clearly state the product's operating frequency and output power in the customs declaration.
- Complete customs procedures: Before shipping, ensure that all customs procedures and relevant paperwork are completed. This may involve EZ Way registration and customs declaration procedures.

How to determine if items can be shipped to Taiwan?
The packaging box and the device itself must have the "Taiwan NCC inspection approved label" for NCC verification, as shown in the red box and red XXX font in the illustration. Please do not send electronic devices without this label.
EZ Way declaration process
Taking the example of the Taiwan version of the iPhone 14 Pro, the recipient has completed the "paper authorization letter" and "NCC self-declaration form" process with EZ Way. They have also received a notification from the courier company requesting the specifications of the iPhone.

After accessing the page, click on the download icon to download the file. Be sure to save the downloaded file once it's downloaded.
【Step 4】Confirmation of Customs Declaration Number with EZ Way
- Most courier companies will notify you of your customs declaration number via SMS. If you do not receive a notification, please contact the Spaceship customer service department.
- Navigate to the EZ Way homepage and click on "Customs Authorization."
Once you have found the customs declaration number, click on the corresponding information to proceed to the next screen. Be sure to pay attention to the "customs declaration number" and make a note of it.
【Step 5】Access the Taiwan NCC member portal and upload the necessary documents.
⚠️ Please ensure that the information uploaded is accurate to avoid customs clearance issues. According to Taiwan Customs regulations, storage fees will be incurred on the third day after the goods arrive in Taiwan. If the imported goods are not cleared through customs within 16 days, late declaration fees will be charged daily. If the customs authorities find that the documents do not meet the requirements, leading to clearance delays and associated costs, the responsibility will fall on the recipient to cover these charges.

NCC review typically takes 1-2 business days, and you can check the comparison results regularly on this page.

(1) Successful Match: When the NCC self-declaration form and product specifications pass the verification process, customs will proceed with the clearance of the shipment.
(2) Unsuccessful Match: If the verification does not go through, please refer to the "Failed Match Explanation" below, follow the instructions to amend the documents, or provide new ones for uploading.
Guidelines for Personal Imports
According to the regulations set by Taiwan Customs and the National Communications Commission (NCC), individuals importing electronic products with Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and infrared capabilities for personal use must complete a comprehensive NCC self-declaration form.
- Each shipment allows for a maximum of 2 electronic products. If you plan to send more than 2 items, you will need to apply for a separate "Second-Level Telecommunication Controlled Radio Frequency Equipment Import Approval Certificate."
- The total battery capacity should be less than 100 watt-hours (Wh), and the net weight of lithium batteries (excluding the device's weight) must be under 5 kilograms.
- The recipient must fill out the NCC self-declaration form as required by the NCC. If the import is for personal use, there is no need to provide information on operating frequency and output power.
- Importers must complete the EZ Way registration and customs declaration procedures.

When filling out the NCC self-declaration form, please keep the following points in mind:- You can use a computer to fill out the NCC self-declaration form, and once completed, it must be printed out for your signature and stamp.
- After filling out the NCC self-declaration form, please send the electronic file back to Spaceship customer service for verification. Once checked, include this document along with other shipping documents when sending them via mail.
- Make sure to keep the original copy of the self-declaration form safe. When importing goods to Taiwan in the future, you may need to take a photo and upload a copy of the self-declaration form to EZ Way for reference.
